Terms of Service & License Agreement

These terms are a legal agreement between you and Muster ("we", "us") for the Muster desktop application and this website. By downloading, activating, or using Muster, or by purchasing a license, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Muster.

1. Your license

Muster is sold as a one-time purchase, per device. Each license you buy is a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use Muster on one device. Buy the number of devices you need at checkout. A license is bound to a device when you activate it; you may move a license to another computer a limited number of times by deactivating the old device and activating the new one.

You may use Muster for personal or commercial work. The license is granted to you (or, if you buy for an organization, to that organization for the number of devices purchased).

2. Free trial

Muster includes a 7-day free trial. When the trial ends, a valid license is required to continue using the app. We may change trial length or availability for future users.

3. What you may not do

Resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute your license key or the app.
Share a license across more devices than you purchased, or circumvent the licensing, activation, or device-binding mechanisms.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except to the limited extent applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.
Use Muster to break the law or to violate the terms of the third-party tools, AI agents, or services you connect to it.

4. Your data and responsibility

Muster runs on your machine and connects directly to your own repositories, databases, servers, issue trackers, and AI-agent CLIs. You are responsible for the credentials you provide, the systems you connect, the AI agents you run, and the actions they take on your data. 5. Payment, and no refunds

Licenses are a one-time payment in USD, processed by Stripe. All sales are final; we do not offer refunds. The 7-day free trial lets you fully evaluate Muster before buying.

Where you have a statutory right of withdrawal for digital goods (for example, EU/UK consumers): by purchasing and then activating a license you request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose that right of withdrawal once the license is issued and activated.

6. Updates

We may provide updates, fixes, or new versions, but are not obligated to. Updates are governed by these terms unless they come with their own.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Muster is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Muster will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business, arising from your use of Muster. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the license giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you breach these terms. On termination you must stop using and delete the app. Sections that by their nature should survive (payment, disclaimers, liability, governing law) survive termination.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date reflects the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [the jurisdiction where Muster is established], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
